I understand that the first (of 10) episodes is mainly going to be about establishing characters, but I found myself bored by the majority of the game. Beyond the prologue, you spend most of the rest of the game in your dad’s small house, taking care of everything short of doing the laundry. We see that the SUV has parked and that the two bikes that passed you earlier are now on either side of it. As we get closer we see that the passenger in the SUV has a bag over her head. The Prospect is a ten-episode series. It takes place in Oregon and centers around a never-before-seen chapter of the Sons of Anarchy motorcycle club.

Sons of Anarchy: Men of Mayhem, by Gale Force Nine, is based on the FX Sons of Anarchy show and pits 3-4 players against each other in a race to see who can gather the most cash before the game ends. Having seen the show is not mandatory to enjoy the game, as I haven't seen a single episode, yet the game, and its theme, drew me in immediately. It follows the HL playbook pretty well. One of the things I found funny at the time was how destructible everything is. It might have been a selling point, but when I see chunks of concrete missing... The game begins with a cutscene of a motorcycle gas tank with the rider's legs wrapped firmly to its side. A leathered arm grasps the handlebars. The scene zooms out to reveal a bike rumbling down a winding mountainous Oregon road. It is late at night and the character is riding behind a dark colored SUV, which is a little farther up. Another rider, wearing a " Sons of Anarchy Oregon" cut, comes around the rider's left. He passes the bike, slowly becoming more illuminated as he comes in front of the bike's headlight.They take a vote at "Church" where the drug deal passes with 6 yes to 5 no; with Chibs Telford, Piney Winston, Juice Ortiz, Bobby Munson and Happy Lowman all voting against it. The Sons of Anarchy TV show may have ended, but the franchise continues with the release of the all-new episodic mobile game, Sons of Anarchy: The Prospect, available now.

The game features voicework by Sons of Anarchy actor Kim Coates, who played Alex "Tig" Trager in the series. It is unclear if other actors from the show are involved with the project. Sons of Anarchy was FX’s premier “macho-man” show. Full of cursing, drinking, punching, shooting, womanizing, and biking, Sons of Anarchy has carved itself into the hearts of viewers who tuned in (the series just concluded last December) every week to see what kind of trouble their favorite bad boys would get themselves into. It’s not a great game, but it’s most certainly a well designed, good one. If you aren’t playing with the kind of people that like cut-throat negotiations and raucous table talk, this game might fall a little flat. It’s not Stone Age, that’s for sure. The object is to collect the most money in a pre-determined amount of rounds, doing so by moving members around the board and activating spaces. Each round you draw and table one to three cards, and these cards can be good, bad, or bad for someone at the end of the round, more or less. This is probably the most interesting part, for me, because it changes the way each round feels based on what you can and can’t do. You also flip over a couple more locations each round until you have nine showing, at which point you’ve hit the maximum and don’t flip more. Location tiles provide you new opportunities to buy and sell drugs and guns, although the drugs are called “contraband”, which is kind of nice – you and I both know they’re drugs, but if you play with a younger player, they can simply be bootleg CDs or something. Who all here thinks that it would be awesome to see a crossover between It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and the Sons of Anarchy/Mayans MC universes? All in all, it’s a good game. It falls short of “great”, and with Miniature Market and others selling these off at a deep discount price, I don’t think it sold well.
