Freya was a great lead character with vulnerabilities everyone can relate to, her character showed so much growth. I really could go on about their bickering, the adopt-a-pet date, and much more – but I want you to actually read this review and get the book! I did enjoy the banter between Mac and Freya and I liked that they fought like an old married couple.This can make it very easy to dive right in and read these books to the very end in one sitting if your life allows. They have really supportive friends with positive messages as opposed to the friend telling them to settle or move on. The first I read was Payback, which was nice because even though this is a stand-alone, Mac's friend and roommate is Roan and Freya's bestie is Allie Harris. This is a delicious friends-to-lovers sports romance… with an H that’s willing to teach his virginal best friend all the ropes when it comes to smexx. Blindsides is a spin-off from the Harris series, but honestly it’s part of the Harris series, because all of the characters are in there!

I have no idea what pushed me to read this book because it’s been on my kindle for some time but I’m so happy I did. Or that that woman would have an understanding of sex that is less than the average middle schooler’s is also extremely insulting. Saying the mc is cool with being heavier and then having her absolutely eviscerate her appearance on long soliloquies for paragraph after paragraph. This was my first Scottish/Cornish (And Amy Daws) Romance novel and if they are all like this – I’m hooked.Blindsided is only my second Amy Daws book, and I really want to read all the Harris Brother's books!

I read more than half of this monstrosity, and though the male narrator's accent was sexy af, I'd rather drink acid than continue this excuse of a 'romance'. Our stoic businessman/weekend daddy is totally deserving of some love and it comes in the form of his complete opposite, and employee! But when an adorable, freckled seamstress comes barreling into his life, he finds Netflix-And-Bickering with her to be his new favorite pastime. Mac and Freya's story is a spin-off from the Harris Brothers series, but can be read as a standalone.
