One of the stand-out features of the Einhell TE-VC 1930 SA is the large stainless steel body, which reduces how often you need to empty the vacuum. If you want to be able to shampoo your carpets, then you’d be better off opting for George Hoover over Charles. Although Charles is fantastic at cleaning wet surfaces, he doesn’t have the shampoo facility that you get with the George. We always think Numatic manufactures vacuums that are simple and easy to use. The Charles is no exception, with its minimalistic features and charming exterior.

You’ve almost certainly heard of the Henry vacuum– now meet his bigger brother Charles. The Numatic Charles vacuum is an excellent all-round model with powerful suction, 9 litre wet capacity, a cleaning range of nearly 27 metres (which is much larger than the Karcher WD3 P) and large filters. James is just like a Henry but often retails for a little less. He usually comes in Yellow but more recently he is Blue. He has a good head on his shoulders... very handy for carrying cleaning supplies, cloths or tools. James has a fixed cable instead of the cable rewind that you find on Henry and Hetty. This means that he is more lightweight, but the the cable has to be wrapped away manually and stored on top when not in use. The power cord is 6m long which is OK and the hose is 1.5m which is on the shorter side but still enough for a general room by room clean when used with the floor brush head.All in all, I would consider this a handy, compact wet and dry vacuum that can also be used to clean up after pets. One of the great aspects of this is its allergy retention, which is great for those of us who start sneezing every time the dust gets agitated.
