both have a powdery character but Brut contains a licorice/anise accord which Blue Stratos doesn't have at all. That's what I think about this juice and even though it's nothing more than just a fragrance with some history these days, it's always fun to let your imagination run wild! Out of all the garbage I have smelled in my journey, this would have to be one of the most pleasent.
Geranium and Patchouli, would be partially the reason why you get the reaction of something is not working here, your attempting to blend a chypre and fougere fragrance together whilst doing it back the front. Even the worst ones can limp on for at least an hour, but Blue Stratos dies straight after the firing gun goes off. This is the best of the cheaper male splash-on's of it's time, nicely marine, funkier and fresher than old spice or Brut 33, I used to open the bottle that my Dad had (but never used) and just sniff. The only way I can make this work is to wear it straight after an evening shower before heading to bed.com perfumes magazine - All Rights Reserved - do not copy anything without prior written permission. I have no issue with the actual scent, which is clean and fresh, if a little unimaginative; so it's not likely to offend anybody. Ideal for an everyday scent; longevity better than expected but won't last all day without a refresh.
Top notes are Lime, Bergamot and Citruses; middle notes are Lavender, Geranium, Ylang-Ylang and Herbal Notes; base notes are Moss, Musk, Patchouli and Precious Woods.Blue Stratos fragrances for men offer subtle scents steeped in lavender and treemoss that the vital ingredient, Fougere, is known for. I really can't think of anything I have that it reminds me of but I think it's well worth checking out. I personally haven't seen this mens perfume for sale in over 10 years but if you like a really easy going scent - this is a nice old favorite. Right up there with Brut, Old Spice, Clubman, and that ilk, but just different enough (at least in the States) to be noticed.
